The Act.ival for Future is organised and implemented by foundation Schüler Helfen Leben on behalf of Solidarity Action Day Movement in Europe (SAME) ivzw. SAME and Schüler Helfen Leben thank you for your application. In accordance with EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) we wish to inform you about the processing and storage of personal data.
In Accordance with Article 6 (1) (b) and (c) GDPR, all data collected with this form will be used for the preparation, implementation and follow-up of the event. For this purpose, the data will be captured via the tool of a service provider (Citrix Systems, Inc.) and transferred to its server in the United States. Citrix Systems is part of the “Privacy Shield Framework”, which guarantees privacy-compliant data transfer to a third country outside the European Union. Furthermore, the collected data will be transmitted to a server in Germany by Schüler Helfen Leben and processed and stored through EDP. The data is stored for the duration of the event’s underlying programme.
A transfer to third parties occurs only based on legal requirements, for the purpose of insuring the participants and possibly for reporting purposes to the third-party funder. Participants will receive event based information before and after the event via their stated contact details. After the event’s underlying programme all the collected data will be deleted.

3. Purposes and legal basis of the processing
The data submitted with this form will be transmitted to a service provider in a third country (Citrix Systems, Inc.) and to a server of Schüler Helfen Leben in Germany and processed from our offices by computer systems. The data processing and storage is carried out in order to conduct the event and in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (b) and (c) EU GDPR.

You have the right for information (Article 15 EU GDPR) and a right to rectification (Article 16 EU GDPR) or deletion (Article 17 EU GDPR) or to restriction of processing (Article 18 EU GDPR) or a right to object to the processing (Article 21 EU GDPR) and a right to data portability (Article 20 EU GDPR).
Any disagreement will not affect the legality of the data acquired and processed on the basis of any other legal basis. You also have a right of appeal at a data protection supervisory authority.
