What's this workshop about?
By developing empathy and creative imagination through various techniques and exercises, participants can identify themselves into the characters of a story (which could be a real one or created around the theme of the workshop), intimately understanding their emotions and the situations they find themselves in. Indeed it is only through empathy that a person can be touched deeply by a story, and only when we’re touched this way by it that it’s possible to tell it to others in order to produce a change inside them. This is, at least for us, the most important aspect of Storytelling, and it’s particularly effective when applied to Civil Theater. The participants' improvisations on the chosen theme will be used to create a show (or a play) which will be performed on Sunday.
Please note:
The workshop is lasting the whole Friday - So if you choose this workshop on Friday morning, please also do on Friday afternoon. Sunday will be the day or the präsentation and the theatre play. Only 5 people for the workshop.
