What's this workshop about?

Given current world events and the fact that we are bombarded with negative news, it is natural to feel high levels of stress. One such stressor is reporting on climate change and the consequences it brings. In addition to having a direct impact on an individual's well-being (physical and mental), climate change can also have a long-term effect on mental health. Although climate change is a real phenomenon that's needs to be adressed, it is also necessary to look after our own state of mind. For this reason, we will organize a workshop called "Climate Change's Toll On Mental Health". Workshop will be divided into three parts, which will include theoretical and practical parts. These three parts of the workshop will include the following topics: 1. How climate change has an impact on mental health (on an individual level); 2. How climate change has an impact on mental health (on community level) and 3. Learning about resilience building tools.
