Inaccurate claims can, purposefully or not, find their way into our social media feeds, political speeches, media reports etc. Being a powerful tool it is, disinformation can be used to undermine democratic values. It can target specific groups and individuals, harming them and society as a whole.

Therefore, it is significant to know how to recognize potentially incorrect claims and what tools you can use to verify their accuracy. Keeping that in mind the main focus of our workshop will be mastering the variety of fact-checking skills and tools that are available to anyone and rather easy to use.
