About the workshop:
As an activist you will always be campaigning and fight for change in the world around you, you may wish to reform systems and advocate for yourself and others. Inclusion and inclusive practices are vital parts of activism. In this workshop we will investigate where inclusion and activism fit together and how to make your own activism and practices more inclusive, as both an individual and a member of your organisation.
About the trainer: Nadine Toye
My name is Nadine Toye and I am a board member of the Organising Bureau of European School Student Unions. I'm 20 years old and I'm from Ireland. I began my journey in student activism in 2016 and since I've been involved with student activism at a local, national and now also European level. OBESSU is the umbrella body of European School Student Unions and we work on supporting and building the capacity of our Member Organizations. OBESSU works on issues such as advocacy, climate action, school student rights and inclusion. We represent 32 organizations from 24 countries.
