About the event:
At our Simulation Game: European Politics, we invite you to experience European politics for yourself. For two days, you will slip into the role of politicians, experience European politics at first hand and can ask yourself the question: Compromise or dissent?
In cooperation with the Union of European Federalists Schleswig-Holstein, we developed a simulation game that combines education about political processes with a change of perspective on European decision-makers. The main topic that you, in the role of European politicians, will deal with is EU Migration & Asylum policy. This salient issue is always a matter of heated political debate, and our goal is to learn together about humane and modern approaches to migration, while also learning about the functioning of the EU. The goal is also to learn about different political positions on this topic, with a strong critical note.
