Are you involved in a SAME member organisation? Do you organise the Solidarity Action Day? Or are you interested in the concept of the Action Day? Join the workshop and let’s get in touch! This is your opportunity, to share your own Action Day experience and to explore how the Action Day is organised in other countries. We would like to learn from each other and develop new ideas. Together, we are part of a big European movement!

Facilitators: Arman Culah, Lucas Lerbech and Janne Decresson

Arman Culah

Arman is an IT student from Bosnia who is actively involved in promoting social justice and equality through activism. As a board member of the SAME network, he has been working tirelessly to bring attention to issues of discrimination and
marginalization faced by minority communities. His commitment to social change and his passion for activism are a testament to his belief in creating a more just and equitable world. Through his actions, he inspires others to take a stand and make a difference in their communities.

Since 2021 he has been a part of the SAME Board, what he loves about SAME is all the different interesting people from all over the world that he meets constantly, and also SAME's mission which is very close to his heart. He also bikeed to one of our events once from Copenhagen to Germany.

Janne Decresson

janne

Janne is currently doing her voluntary service at the SAME office in Lübeck. Over the past months, she's been working with the SAME Member and Candidate Organizations. It's been an absolute pleasure for her to meet Solidarity Action Day activists across Europe and she's looking forward to meeting some more in this workshop. She is from Belgium and still involved in SAME's Belgian member organisation, YOUCA. Before her voluntary service, she completed her studies in philosophy at KU Leuven.
