SAME visits European youth events and youth initiatives all over Europe. During these visits SAME promotes and informs young people about the Solidarity Action Day concept and idea. In these interactive sessions, the participants learn about its principles and values, while getting ideas on how it could be interesting for their own initiatives.
The sky is the limit. Young people can do any job they want to, as long as it is appropriate to their age and not too dangerous. The type of jobs varies, from being the European president for a day to sorting out papers in an office, from being stewess to taking care of grandma’s garden. Some organisations help participants to find jobs, others motivate participants to find jobs on their own, and some do both.
