The Summer Academy-Wednesday started with a great Bar-Camp-Session, which means that we had small workshop sessions going on where our participants could choose which of them they’d like to join or even do a workshop by themselves. This was a great way to have an exchange about our different organisations and their structures. We also had a nice workshop were our new potential member organisations talked about their work and how they’d try to implement the Solidary Action Day in their organisations.

To put it in a nutshell, the Bar-Camp-Session was a great way to have an exchange about different topics regarding the differences and similarities between Solidary Action Day Organisations.

In the evening our nice “intercultural night”, this year called “SAMEovision”, took place, hosted by Jonas and Nejla. The different delegations introduced their countries and culture with a small performance. The stunning performance “What is Belgium?” by Belgium’s “YOUCA”-delegation helped to secure the 1st place in the close race to the podium of “SAMEovivion”. Bosnia and Herzegovina achieved the 2nd place while the Italian collective of “OD Italy” and Social Day” gathered the 3rd place. The Belgian winners performed again and afterwards all together had a nice party.

Ultimately the day was experiencing and all of our participants had a lot of fun during the Bar-Camp and “intercultural night”.
