About the workshop:

In this two-hour workshop, we want to have a look at the diverse topic that is migration, and analyse it in relation to climate and environmental changes.
What are the links between climate change and migration, what kinds of migration result from climate and environmental changes? In the last years, how has climate change and environmental changes impacted migration and what influence will climate change have on migration in the future? How do we handle climate migration? After a short discourse on setting straight definitions and concepts, we will go in depth with interactive group works and case studies to have a closer look at the diverse aspects of environmental and climate migration and search for answers to the above questions.
