About the event
The training is the basis for your voluntary commitment in non-formal education and youth work. Here you will learn for example about group dynamics and how to organize & structure activities (incl. diferent methods) or which legal regulations have to be observed and much more. Afterwards, you will have the necessary know-how and be able to facilitate youth work activities. Besides, there will be an exciting side-program, time to explore Lübeck and have fun together.
During the training, we will focus on:
- understanding and facilitating group learning processes and group dynamics
- role and tasks of youth leaders/ youth workers
- how to plan, prepare and design non-formal educational activities
- communicating mindfully and meaningfully
- methods & useful tools
- conflict management
The training is an introduction to the single topics and the program is designed for beginners.

The training is part of our Skill Training Series. It provides impulses, orientation and knowledge for young people and strengthens them in their voluntary work. For every training course, participants will receive a certificate of participation.
