Intensive training on Volunteer Management

During this five-day in-person training in Lübeck, 20 young changemakers will come together to unlock the secrets of building strong and sustainable volunteer communities. The programme is designed for participants from SAME member and candidate organisations, as well as motivated young professionals who work with volunteers in their daily life. Under the topic “Volunteer Management: Cultivating a Strong Volunteer Network”, we will dive into the key challenges every organisation faces: how to recruit new volunteers, keep them motivated, and make sure they feel valued and included. But this training is not about theory only – it’s about practical tools, real-life examples and peer-to-peer exchange that you can immediately apply in your organisation. The sessions will be facilitated by Valentina Antić from Out of the Box International – a highly experienced trainer and expert on youth engagement, activism, and volunteer management, who has worked with dozens of organisations across Europe. Expect interactive workshops, creative methods, and plenty of space for reflection and networking. By the end of the training, you will not only boost your skills, but also get the chance to become part of a vibrant support system across the SAME Network and beyond – a circle of young people passionate about turning volunteer energy into real social impact.
